Baby Recognition

Sunday, May 22 was baby dedication at Auburn United Methodist Church. They recognized all the babies born over the past year. 54 in our church! Chip was at Lake Guntersville in a fishing tournament and Karlee was at the lake with Chip's parents. So, it was just me and Madelyn standing in front of everyone. She was more interested in the musical instruments and the choir behind us than the congregation of people in front of us!



My parents joined us in church that day so I wasn't totally alone. I kept Madelyn in the sanctuary instead of taking her to the nursery. She was an angel the entire time. She only started making cooing sounds and smiling at the people behind us during the last 10 minutes of the service. Brother George was a little long-winded that day too! Madelyn stayed an angel for us to enjoy a nice meal at Moores Mill afterwards.




Madelyn's baptism is in 2 weeks. EVERYBODY in my family better be there (no fishing that day).
