Officially Everywhere!!

Karlee is no longer creeping around. She is full out crawling everywhere and in to everything. It's so funny to watch that little body move about on her hands and knees. Chip and I think she's just so little to be crawling now. We've had to move her bed down and are about to have to move it again. She found her toy and book basket in the living room Monday night. She pulled herself up once and fell. She must have seen what was in the basket because she was right back up and pulling things out. Last night she discovered that she could play with Sable through the window and loved it. Please excuse the diaper bottom. Chip didn't put her pants back on after a diaper change.

Karlee had a visitor this weekend. The tooth fairy. Only she was bringing teeth rather than taking them. Karlee's two bottom teeth have pushed through. She hasn't been too terribly cranky but her night time sleeping is off. She woke 4 times last night and was up for good around 5:30 this morning. Mommy is really sleepy right now at work!

On the move

Karlee has started creeping crawling. She'll get on all fours and rock a little then move forward and fall down and keep creeping on her stomach. It is hilarious to watch and she thinks so too because she lets out this loud giggle every time she moves forward.

If I can't go under it,

I'll go over it.

Sweet Lovin'

Karlee and I spent the day Saturday helping Natalie Yoe fill bird seed bags for her upcoming wedding. Karlee played with Elisha Wohleb's daughter Anna. Karlee kept wanting to suck on Anna's toes because apparently they looked so tasty. Karlee is one month and two days older than Anna so it was so cute to see them play together. They were playing so well and then all of a sudden, Karlee pulled Anna's shirt to get her closer and gave her a wet kiss. Anna was totally surprised, as was I!

Nursery First

We decided to bite the bullet and put Karlee in the nursery at church yesterday. We have always just kept her in her car seat carrier because she's usually asleep when we arrive at church. These days she's much more active and alert and babbles at everything. She's never had a babysitter besides my mom or Chip's mom so I wasn't sure how she would do. I sat her on the floor to play with the other kids and the junior high girls that are in there to help the adult keeper. She started playing and babbling at them so I slipped out the door but continued to watch through the glass. They give you pagers in case of emergency. Mrs. Mary assured me that she would page me if I was needed.

We made it through a wonderful sermon with no page and I was eager to find out how Karlee did with the other kids because she's never played with others before. We got to the nursery to find Karlee asleep in the crib. Mrs. Mary said she was just perfect and had actually just gone to sleep after her bottle. Success!!

We have a sitter!!

If you didn't notice in the beach pictures, Karlee is now sitting on her own very well. She smiles every time we put her on the floor to sit. Thank you so much to the Galimore's for letting us borrow the ABC mat. It's much better than the pile of blankets we had on the hardwoods. She's even getting traction and learning how to get up on her knees for the start of crawling.
Ali, look. She has a bow in her hair!!

Beach Fun with Family

Last weekend Karlee and I trekked down to Gulf Shores with my mom, my grandmother (age 80), my aunt Cyndi, my cousin Tabatha, her two boys Carson (7) and Hamilton (4), and my cousin Jackson (10). We had a wonderful time and Karlee loved the beach again. This time I had her a cabana to sit in rather than moving the umbrella every few hours. She loved it and even took a great nap in it. I would recommend this to anyone that travels to the beach a lot. It was extremely easy to put up and take down (literally seconds!).

Karlee had her first ride on a carousel while the big boys rode the go-karts at the Adventure Park.

Me, Karlee, and Granny enjoying the pool.
