Today was the first Easter egg hunt of the season for Karlee. Her class at Parkway had a hunt and little party following to celebrate Easter. Karlee took off after the eggs once she saw them. However, she immediately stopped and wanted to know what was inside of it before she moved to the next egg. She finally saw that the other kids were picking up all the eggs so she started picking them up faster!!

After the hunt, we all went back inside for some yummy treats (like there wasn't enough in everyone's baskets!). The kiddos started opening eggs and Karlee followed suit. After watching her eat a Reeses cup, kit kat, jelly beans, and a chocolate egg in the matter of seconds, I knew there might be a stomach ache around the corner. Then, donuts were handed out and she ate that too! Needless to say, Karlee was not interested in lunch after school today.
It was a fun morning. Thank you Lord for the beautiful weather during this Holy week.
